If you haven’t heard the news, the “Legacy of the Beast” tour is hitting Europe! Starting on 26th May in Estonia, Iron Maiden are travelling through Europe… (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, and the UK!).

In the UK, Iron Maiden will be touring at the following:

Tuesday 31st July: Newcastle Metro Radio Arena

Thursday 2nd August: Belfast SSE Arena

Saturday 4th August: Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre

Monday 6th August: Manchester Arena

Tuesday 7th August: Birmingham Genting Arena

Friday 10th August: London O2 Arena

Friday 11th August: London O2 Arena

So here is what to expect.

The concert is inspired by Iron Maiden’s mobile game and comic book, which share the same name. The stage set design is said to feature several “different, but interlocking worlds”. The setlist has been speculated to feature a large selection of their hits from the 80’s, as well as some surprises to “add diversity”.

Rod Smallwood, the manager said in an interview: “For this History/Hits tour we decided to base the theme around the Legacy Of The Beast name, which suits our purposes perfectly by giving us scope to get creative and have some fun, especially with Eddie! I don’t want to give too much away at the moment but we’re working on a number of different stage sets, all in keeping with the Maiden tradition and we hope to give our fans a fantastic experience when they come to see this very special show.”

The tour is being supported by Killswitch Engage, which are known for hits such as ‘My Curse’, ‘This Fire Burns’ and ‘The End of Heartache’.

Tickets are available now and start at £55 each.
