Vintage Paul Brett Signature Statesboro'
VE660WK Orchestra Electro-Acoustic Guitar. Whiskey Sour Finish

There's an aura of 1930's blues about the new Vintage Statesboro'™ Whisky Sour Series of acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, designed by English guitarist and blues historian Paul Brett.

Harken back to the Great Depression era in the USA, when so many classic songs were written about money problems and job losses, on what in reality, were just functional guitars amiss of luxurious appointments like exotic tonewoods, bindings or elaborate inlays.

The new Vintage Statesboro'™ Whisky Sour acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, (available in dreadnought, concert and parlour body sizes) all share the same 'bluesman on a budget' theme, looking authentically cool in a satin matt, Whisky Sour finish highlighting the natural grain pattern of the all-mahogany construction and subtle soundhole rosette.

It's Paul Brett's keen eye for design and expertise that's cleverly created a series of acoustic and electro acoustic guitars, that not only have that feel it in your bones innate blues emotion, there's also a modern approach within playability and sound that amateur and professional players will appreciate.

The warm, crisp resonant tone of the handpicked mahogany for example and palm friendly neck profilessmooth frets and a great action, make the Statesboro' Whisky Sour Series acoustics not merelyan emotionally inspiring thrill for blues players, they're also well-suited to a wide range of playing styles.

Like all Vintage Statesboro' acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, the parlour model alone has a big sound and is perfect as a travel companion, while both dreadnought and concert models are also available as electro-acoustic guitars with single cutaway bodies and an additional Vintage preamp with controls for volume, bass, middle and treble, phase switch, tuner display and low battery indicator

One of the Worlds foremost exponents of the 12 string guitar, Paul Brett initially cut his teeth in the 1960’s as an electric lead guitarist working with acts such as Lonnie Donegan, The Strawbs, The Overlanders, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Elmer Gantry’s Velvet Opera, Paul Brett Sage and played/ toured with many other famous bands and artistes before switching to the 12 string in 1970’s. He composed the first suite for 12 string guitar which gained worldwide acclaim leading to RCA records signing him on a long term album deal culminating in a TV promoted chart album 'Romantic Guitar’ – which reached platinum status in the UK.

Aside from his playing ability, Paul has, over the years, contributed many articles as a music journalist to National music publications including Melody Maker, International Musician and for eleven years was Acoustic Magazine's expert on Vintage Guitars being recognised as one of the World's leading experts on the subject. He has built up over the years an amazing collection of guitars covering most periods of the instruments development. This has led him to design a series of award-winning Paul Brett Signature instruments for the Vintage® range of acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars.
